Syrian singer-actor Samo Zaen has signed on to star in the romantic film "Fi Osbo" (Working title).
The film is written and directed by Ismail Al-Abras and is set to begin shooting in Dubai next week.
The shooting will take place between Dubai, Egypt, and Greece.
"Fi Osbo" mark Zaen's comeback to acting after years of obscene. He made his last screen appearance in the 2019 TV series "Badal Alhadouta Talata".
Zaen, born on November 10, 1979, is one of the Middle East's best singers. He began his career in 1999 by releasing his first album "Mili Ya Helawa".
In 2006, the superstar made his acting career in the romance film "90 Minutes", starring Zeina.
Other acting credits include the 2005 film "Hamadah Yilab" and TV series "Taem al Hayaa" (2017) and the "Badal Alhadouta Talata".
