Australian actress Samara Weaving has shared her thoughts on returning to her breakout horror role.
Weaving said she’s “all in” to reprise her bridal final girl Grace Le Domas for a potential sequel to her 2019 movie "Ready or Not", which also helped launch Radio Silence directorial duo Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin (V/H/S, Scream, Scream VI, Abigail).
“I’m all in. I think we’re all in, I don’t know. I think we’re all in,” Weaving told ComicBook.com. “I don’t know if we’ve had our blood handshake, but pretty much. We’ve done the spit handshake, but we haven’t cut each other’s hands and rubbed our blood together.”
"In Ready or Not", Weaving plays newlywed bride Grace, whose eccentric new in-laws force her to partake in a deadly game of hide and seek to fulfill a supernatural family prophecy. She has to stay alive from midnight until dawn, during which time she begins fighting back.
Written by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, the movie also stars Adam Brody, Mark O’Brien, Andie MacDowell, and Henry Czerny. Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, William Sherak and Bradley J. Fischer served as producers of the film with Chad Villella, Tara Farney, Tracey Nyberg and Daniel Bekerman as executive producers.
Weaving has since reunited with Radio Silence for a cameo in last year’s "Scream VI", which also featured a tribute to Grace with background actress in her bridal costume during a Halloween scene.
