Renowned Egyptian actress Samah Anwar has recently joined the cast of actress Mona Zaki's comedy film "Rizk Al Hibl".
The cast also stars Mohamed Shahin, Rahma Ahmed, Taha Desouky, and more. The film is scripted by George Azmy, directed by Sarah Noah, and produced by Shahinaz El-akkad.
"Rizk Al Hibl" marks Anwar's comeback to the big screen after five years of absence. She made her last onscreen appearance in the 2019 rom-com film “Estedaa Wale Amr”.
Anwar, born on April 22, 1965, graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University and thereafter launched her acting career taking on vivacious roles in Egyptian cinema.
Among her best-known film works are "Imr'aa Wahda La Takfi", "Lela Assal", and "Bent Mosabha Geden".
Anwar has also performed on stage and television. Her TV series include "Zeab El Gabal" and "Yomyat Wanees".
The actress stepped away from acting for several years following a car accident but returned to the spotlight with the "My Experience" program in 2002.
