Egyptian actress Salwa Khattab has joined the cast of actress Riham Hagag's new TV series "Sodfa".
The cast also stars Khaled El Sawy, Shereen Reda, and more.
The project sees Hagag reunite with "Gamila" and “U-Turn” creators screenwriter Ayman Salama and director Sameh Abdelaziz.
"Sodfa" is set to premiere during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
Khattab, born on February 26, 1959, made her acting debut in the 1979 film “‘Ashaq Taht El Ashreen” (Love Under 20).
She got her big break in the 1984 TV series “Hend We El Doctor Noman” (Hend And Doctor Noman).
The actress is best known for roles in TV series "Mamlaket Eblis", "Nelly and Sherihan", "Al Ahd: El Kalam El Mobah", "Embratoreyet Meen", "Gabal Al Halal", "Segn El-Nisaa", "Niran Sadeeka", "Hadith Al-Sabah wal Masaa", "Alnnisa' Qadimun, and "Raafat Al-Haggan 2".
She is also known for her appearances in films such as "Ya Tahadi Ya Taadi", "Fatat Al Masna", "Al Saher", and "Shawader".
