Last year, the Egyptian National Theater Festival’s supreme committee announced that it will honour iconic stars: Samir Ghanem, and Dalal Abdel Aziz during the forthcoming edition.
The 13th edition of the festival will take place between September 27 to October 9.
Iconic actor Youssef Ismail, the director of the festival, said that the two late stars contributed widely to the scene of arts in Egypt.
The veteran actor and comedian passed away at the age of 84 years old in May as he suffered from medical complications kidney-failure related, in addition to contracting COVID-19. He also spent almost two weeks in intensive care.
