"Salma Ali" Crowned Miss Egypt 2024

"Salma Ali" was crowned with the title of Miss Egypt 2024 in a breathtaking ceremony that was held in one of New Cairo's prestigious hotels.

Salma competed with 21 contestants who reached the final rounds of the competition, and underwent several competitions and eliminations during the past weeks out of 100 girls.

The competition's jury, who chose the winners, included Stars Horeya Farghaly, and Yasmine Sabry, as well as the Competitions Chairwoman Amaal Rezk, as well as former beauty queens and beauty experts.

In the beauty pageant, Salma appeared in a long, off-Shoulder sequin high slit gown in Silver.‏ She wore nude-toned, natural-looking makeup look with a natural lipstick shade on her magical smile, and chose to leave her natural wavy hair loose on both sides.

Salma Ali said in her exclusive interview with Sada el Balad English (See), " I did not expect that, to be honest, but I worked very hard on myself. I am happy with the title and I thank everyone who supported me, especially my mom."

Salma is quite known for her intelligence, sense of humour, and piano talent. She also under  went talent, fitness, and eco primes to stand of the stage of the beauty pageant, to be able to win the title.

The closing ceremony included several fashion shows, in addition to various questions from the jury to evaluate the presence, speed of response and intelligence of the contestants.

Farah Hazem won the title of Miss Eco Egypt 2024, which is a contest made for Teens, who care for the eco system and the environment. Salma Walid was also chosen as the first runner-up for Miss Eco Teen Egypt.

Meantime, Mariam Awad also won the title of Mrs Egypt, a title especially made for married queens. Mrs Egypt 1st runner up went to Salma Samir.

Salwa Jaber was chosen as the first runner-up for Miss Egypt, while Sarah George won the title of Miss Egypt for Tourism, and Zeina Amara won the title of Miss Grand International, which are titles that qualify them to participate in international competitions in these fields. 

Miss Egypt Globe tourism went to Raawan Hamdy., while Miss Tourism International 2024 Egypt went to Rofaida Sadek, and Miss Cosmo Egypt went to Norhan Alhosini.
