Egyptian actress Sahar El Sayegh has signed on to star in the social thriller TV series "Habiba."
Abdul Aziz Hashad directs the series from a script by Magdy Saber. The series consists of 15 episodes and is produced by Mahrous Al Masry.
El Sayegh was last seen in the TV series “Al Moalem".
The cast also includes Mostafa Shaban, Salwa Khattab, Ahmed Bedier, Sahar El Sayegh, Hager Ahmed, Monther Rayahnah, Entsar, Ahmed Fouad Selim, and more.
“Al Moalem" is scripted by Mohamed Elshawaf, directed by Morcous Adel, and produced by Synergy.
The series is based on the 1986 film "Shader El Samk", starring Ahmed Zaki and Nabila Ebeed.

Sayegh, born on January 1, 1990, began acting in TV productions when she was a child, the most famous is her portrayal of the young legendary actress in 1999's "Umm Kulthum". The role was a big break in the acting field.
She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry and is still practicing the profession alongside her acting career but she does not have a private clinic.
Sayegh confirmed in one of her meetings that she will not leave her profession as a doctor in the future and will work to open her clinic, in addition to acting.
