Egyptian actress Sahar El Sayegh is set to participate in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon with the TV series "Qal' Alhajar".
The cast also include Riyad Al-Khouli, Mohamed Reyad, Rania Farid Shawky, and more.
The series hails from prominent director Hosny Saleh.
It marks the acclaimed director's first time to participate in the drama marathon in 9 years.
Saleh made his last participation with the 2015 TV series "El Weswas".
"Qal' Alhajar" takes place in the Nubia and Qomola regions in Upper Egypt and addresses women's right issue.
El Sayegh participated last Ramadan with the TV series “Baba Al Magal”.
It also starred Mostafa Shaban, Sawsan Badr, Riyad Al-Khouli, Sama Ibrahim, Arefa Abdel-Rasoul, Mohamed Radwan, Bassem Samra, Yasmin Raeis, Jumana Murad, with the star , Mohamed Najati, Mahmoud Hafez, and others.
The series is directed by Ahmed Khaled Moussa and produced by Kamel Abu Ali and Essam Al-Arjani.
Sayegh, born on January 1, 1990, began acting in TV productions when she was a child, the most famous is her portrayal of the young legendary actress in 1999's "Umm Kulthum". The role was a big break in the acting field.
She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry and is still practicing the profession alongside her acting career but she does not have a private clinic.
Sayegh confirmed in one of her meetings that she will not leave her profession as a doctor in the future and will work to open her clinic, in addition to acting.
