Egyptian actress Sahar El Sayegh is collaborating once again with actor Mostafa Shaban in the TV series "Al Moalem".
It is scripted by Mohamed Al Shawaf, directed by Morcous Adel, and produced by Synergy. The series is based on the 1986 film "Shader El Samk", starring Ahmed Zaki and Nabila Ebeed.
“Al Moalem" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon and marks the second collaboration between El Sayegh and Shaban after the TV series “Baba Al Magal”.
It also starred Sawsan Badr, Riyad Al-Khouli, Sama Ibrahim, Arefa Abdul Rasoul, Mohamed Radwan, Bassem Samra, Jumana Murad, Mohamed Nagaty, Mahmoud Hafez, and more.
The series was directed by Ahmed Khaled Moussa and produced by Kamel Abu Ali and Essam Al-Arjani.
On the other hand, El Sayegh is planning to participate in the drama marathon with the TV series "Qal' Alhajar".
The cast also includes Riyad Al-Khouli, Mohamed Reyad, Rania Farid Shawky, and more.
The series hails from prominent director Hosny Saleh.
It marks the acclaimed director's first time to participate in the drama marathon in 9 years.
Saleh made his last participation with the 2015 TV series "El Weswas".
"Qal' Alhajar" takes place in the Nubia and Qomola regions in Upper Egypt and addresses women's rights issues.
Sayegh, born on January 1, 1990, began acting in TV productions when she was a child, thee most famous is her portrayal of the young legendary actress in 1999's "UmmKulthum". The role was a big break in the acting field.
She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry and is still practicing the profession alongside her acting career but she does not have a private clinic.
Sayegh confirmed in one of her meetings that she will not leave her profession as a doctor in the future and will work to open her clinic, in addition to acting.
