Veteran Egyptian actress Safaa El-Toukhi is the latest addition to the cast of the TV series "Fahd El Batal," set to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marthoun.
The cast also stars Ahmed Abdelaziz, Ahmed Elawady, Yasmin Raeis, Sarah Salama, Myrna Noureldin, and more.
The series is a Saidi genre reuniting Elawady with scriptwriter Mahmoud Hamdan.
The pair collaborated on the 2023 TV series “Haq Arab," which achieved great success during its premiere time in the holy month of Ramadan.
Born on August 22, 1964, Safaa Abdallah Mohammed El Tokhi, known as Safaa El-Toukhi, graduated with a bachelor's degree at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1985.
In the beginning, she worked as a writer, influenced by her mother. In 1995, she started to work at the Institute of National Culture.
El-Toukhi began her acting career in the 1979 TV series "El Bahitha". She made her theatre debut in the play "El Ayyam El Makhmoura" in 1999, then starred in several films such as "El Zaman El Saab", "El Mohagir", and "Bekhit we Adila".
The acclaimed actress moved to the small screen, where she starred in TV series such as "Layaly Al-Helmiya", "Lan Ayesh Fi Galbab Abi", and "Mahmoud El Masry". Her most notable television performance came through the TV series "Qadhiya Rai Am" with the role of Yousra.
