The Tutankhamun exhibition at Friendship Park in Moscow attracted a large crowd who was fascinated with its replicas.

The tour guide, Irina, explained the history of Egypt and showcased 100 exact copies of holdings from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, including a statue discovered by British archaeologist Howard Carter and businessman Lord Carnarvon.

Questions were asked about the life and death of the Egyptian pharaoh, the curse of the Pharaohs, Tutankhamun's early death, and how the cemetery was spared from looting.

The cemetery featured 5 thousand pieces, despite its small size, and had a warning on its door. Inside, a message warned against disturbing the mummy.

The Russian public closely followed the deaths of the individuals who opened the cemetery, including its discoverer, Carter.

Head of the Egyptian Society for Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities, Sherif Gad, expressed his delight at being allowed to attend the fascinating show in Moscow featuring an important figure in the history of Egyptian civilization.

Gad was also pleased with the warm reception from the Russian public, which reflected the high regard for Egyptian civilization among the Russian people, despite the fact that the works were replicas.

On the other hand, the administration of the Peoples' Friendship Park decided to continue the exhibition until next September.

It's worth mentioning that 2022 marked the centenary of the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb, which is regarded as the most significant archaeological find in history.
