A partial ceasefire will be imposed by both Russian and Ukrainian forces in the city of Mariupol to give civilians the brace of time to leave the city, Reuters reported on Saturday.

The ceasefire term will be only five hours from noon to 5 pm in Moscow time, according to RIA news agency.

In the same context, the Russian troops said they will impose also a temporary ceasefire in the city of Volnovakha to allow humanitarian aid and civilians to leave it.

Last Thursday, Ukraine – Russia delegations announced agreeing on humanitarian corridors, and agreement for a temporary ceasefire.

The ceasefire will be imposed for the evacuation of citizens and sending aid and medicines to regions that witnessed battles.

Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak said: “To our great regret, we did not get the results we were counting on.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin also confirmed the same news.

In the same context, Vladimir Medinsky said that the negotiations between both countries are in “substantial progress.”

“The main issue we decided on today was the issue of saving people, civilians, who are in the zone of military clashes,” Medinsky said.

“Russia calls on civilians who find themselves in this situation, if military actions continue, to use these humanitarian corridors.”

On the other hand, the Ukrainian said that there are some points of argument between the two sides.
