Ukraine, Russia Agree on Humanitarian Corridor

Ukraine - Russia delegations announced agreeing on humanitarian corridors, and agreement for a temporary ceasefire, DW reported on Thursday.

The ceasefire will be imposed for the evacuation of the citizens and sending aid and medicines that witnessed battlefields.

Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak said: "To our great regret, we did not get the results we were counting on."

Russian President Vladimir Putin also confirmed the same news.

In the same context, Vladimir Medinsky said that the negotiations between both countries, describing: "substantial progress."

"The main issue we decided on today was the issue of saving people, civilians, who are in the zone of military clashes," Medinsky said.

"Russia calls on civilians who find themselves in this situation, if military actions continue, to use these humanitarian corridors."

On the other hand, the Ukrainian said that there were that there are some points of argument.
