“The Holiday” star Rufus Sewell is engaged to his partner, Vivian Benitez, who is thirty years his junior.
Benitez broke the news Tuesday on Instagram by sharing two photos of her wearing a circular sparkler on her left ring finger.
In the first photo, Benitez showed off her hand with the new rock as it laid on her herringbone jacket.
Meanwhile, the second snap was a selfie of Benitez, 26, smiling from ear-to-ear with Sewell, 56, kissing her on the cheek.
“Till death (or him continuing to walk on bathmats with his outside shoes) do us part,” she captioned.
Benitez didn’t share details about the proposal, but she posted on the platform a photo of herself from Rome one day prior.
Sewell, who played Jasper in the beloved Christmas movie “The Holiday”, has been dating Benitez for at least two years.
The duo have mostly stayed out of the public eye throughout their relationship, but they have made a few red carpet appearances together, including at the premieres of his movies, “Old” in July 2021 and ” The Diplomat” this past April.
Sewell will walk down the aisle for the third time, as he was previously married twice.
The “Victoria” actor first tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Yasmin Abdallah in 1999, but they divorced the following year.
Four years later, he married Amy Gardner in 2004 and got divorced in 2006. The exes share a son, William Douglas, 21.
Sewell also shares a 10-year-old daughter named Lola with his ex-partners Ami Komai.
