Ruby and Ahmed Saad's MUST Concert Postponed in Solidarity with Palestine

Egyptian singers Ruby and Ahmed Saad's October 18 concert at the Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST), has been postponed indefinitely due to the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Hamas launched Saturday a surprise attack on Israel out of Gaza. 

Israel declared a complete siege of Gaza and has also launched a bombing campaign on the Palestinian territory. At least 900 people, including at least 140 children, have been killed in the Gaza Strip by Israel's retaliatory airstrikes, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, and at least 4,500 have been wounded.

Humanitarian groups have warned that Gaza City's main hospital is running at full capacity and supplies are running out as Israel enforces a strict blockade of the Palestinian territory.

UNRWA had not been able to bring any additional aid into Gaza since Saturday when Hamas unleashed an unprecedented ground, air, and sea assault on Israel. 

Israeli forces have tightened their longstanding blockade of Gaza since the attack, sealing off the coastal strip of land and vowing that nothing would go in or out, including water, food, medicine, gas, or electricity.
