Supernatural horror TV series “Room 207“ season 2's writing process is currently underway.
In an interview with "Sada El Balad" TV Channel, Egyptian actor Mohamed Farag said a large part of the script has been written and noted: "Season 2 needs a lot of preparation and money,".
Season one of “Room 207“ premiered in October 2022 on the "Shahid" streaming platform.
The series was on three main characters: Gamal Al Sawaf (played by Farag), Sherine Hosny (Riham Abdel Ghafour), and Sarah (Nardine Farag).
Additional cast included Mourad Makram, Youssef Othman, Kamel El Basha, Salwa Othman, and Samar Allam.
The series is adapted from the late novelist Dr. Ahmed Khaled Tawfik’s novel of the same name. Director Mohamed Bakir directed the series from a script by Tamer Ibrahim.
“Room 207“ consisted of 10 episodes with each starring a new guest appearance, including Bayoumi Fouad, Asmaa Galal, Abbas Abo El Hassan, Nabil Issa, Mariam El Khosht, Ali Al Tayeb, Hesham Ismail, Mahmoud Hafez, Razan El Moghrabi, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, and Ingi Abou Zeid.
The novel, which takes place in 1968, revolves around hotel room number 207, which the owner declines to close despite its strange occurrences. Many enter the room but a few survive physically, those who do escape the room carry unforgettable and horrible memories.
Gamal Al Sawaf took it upon himself to resolve the mysteries of the room.
