Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2025 Inductees: Outkast, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden & More Honored

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducted its 2025 class in a star-studded ceremony Saturday at the Peacock Theater, featuring tributes, speeches, and live performances from some of the biggest names in music.

This year’s class includes Outkast, Bad Company, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, Salt-N-Pepa, Chubby Checker, and Joe Cocker, celebrating artists 25 years after their first release, as well as The White Stripes, Carole Kaye, Nicky Hopkins, Lenny Waronker, Thom Bell and Warren Zevon.

Outkast: The iconic American rap duo, known for hits like “Hey Ya,” “Ms. Jackson,” and “Roses,” was inducted by Donald Glover. 

A medley performance featured Big Boi, Janelle Monáe, JID, Doja Cat, Killer Mike, and Sleepy Brown.

Bad Company: English rockers famous for “Feel Like Makin’ Love” and “Can’t Get Enough” were inducted by Mick Fleetwood, with performances by Nancy Wilson, Joe Perry, and Chris Robinson.

Cyndi Lauper: The pop icon behind “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and “Time After Time” performed a medley with Avril Lavigne, Raye, and Salt-N-Pepa, inducted by Chappell Roan.

Soundgarden: Celebrating classics like “Black Hole Sun” and “Outshined,” the band was inducted by Jim Carrey. 

Surviving members performed with Taylor Momsen and Brandi Carlile, filling in for the late Chris Cornell.

Salt-N-Pepa: The legendary rap group (“Push It,” “Let’s Talk About Sex”) were inducted by Missy Elliott and performed alongside En Vogue.

Chubby Checker: The 1950s star of “The Twist” accepted his induction via video tribute.

Joe Cocker: The late English singer, known for “You Are So Beautiful” and “With a Little Help From My Friends,” was honored posthumously.

The ceremony brought together multiple generations of music icons, celebrating the enduring influence of these legendary artists.
