Last year’s Oscar winners Robert Downey Jr., Emma Stone, Cillian Murphy, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph are set to return to the 2025 ceremony as presenters.
Stone won best actress for playing Bella Baxter in “Poor Things” by Yorgos Lanthimos; Murphy was the best actor for his role as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer”; Randolph won best supporting actress for her performance as Mary Lamb in “The Holdovers,” directed by Alexander Payne; and Downey Jr. won best-supporting actor for playing Lewis Strauss in “Oppenheimer.”
Stone is a two-time Oscar winner, having won previously for her role in Damien Chazelle’s “La La Land.” Murphy, Randolph, and Downey Jr. were all first-time winners in 2024.
Additional presenters for this year’s ceremony have yet to be announced.
Conan O’Brien will host the 97th Oscars ceremony, which will be held at the Dolby Theatre on March 2 at 4 p.m. PT and 7 p.m. ET.
Viewers can tune into the show on ABC or stream it live on Hulu, an option added for the first time this year. The red carpet begins airing at 30 minutes before the ceremony.
The production team includes executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor, executive producer Katy Mullan, co-executive producer Rob Pain, and producers Sarah Levine Hall, Taryn Hurd, Jeff Ross, and Mike Sweeney. Mandy Moore will supervise the choreographer, and Noah Mitz and Bob Dickinson will be the lighting designers. Hamish Hamilton will direct the show.
