Riham Hagag's Ramadan 2026 Series Gets Title

Egyptian actress Riham Hagag's upcoming TV series for the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon has received a title.

It is set to be filmed under the title, "Tawaba".

The drama reunites Hagag with the creative team behind TV series 2025's “Athena” director Yahya Ismail and scriptwriter Ayman Salama.

Hagag, was born on September 22, 1986, in Milano, Italy to Egyptian parents, and she spent most of her life abroad, where she studied mass communication and worked in the marketing field for some time.

Upon her return to Egypt, she started an acting career with her role in the film “Safari” in 2010, and in the same year, she took a role in the TV series “Azmet Sokkar”, which achieved great success.

In 2012, Hagag portrayed the famous Egyptian belly dancer Samia Gamal in the biopic “Karioka.” Her role in the film “Ba’d El Toufan” (After the Flood) was met with critical acclaim, and she won a prize for her role in the Marrakesh film festival.

She co-starred in several films and TV productions with prominent stars in the film industry and became known for her roles in 2014 's “Segn El-Nisaa”, and 2012's “Rakam Maghol”.
