Egyptian actress Riham Hagag is gearing up to make a comeback to the big screen after eight years of absence.
In a statement, Hagag said she has been working on the project for two years after a period of focusing on drama making, which she achieved successive successes.
Hagag added that she chose a distinctive script for her comeback to the big screen after an 8-year hiatus.
She made her last onscreen appearance in the 2018 film “Raghda Motawahisha”, which also Ramez Galal, Mohamed Tharwat, Samy Maghawry, Entsar, and Ahmed Fathy.
Hagag, born on September 22, 1986, studied mass communication and worked in the marketing field for some time.
In 2010, she started an acting career with the film “Safari” and the TV series “Azmet Sokkar”, which achieved great success.
Hagag portrayed the famous Egyptian belly dancer Samia Gamal in the 2012 biopic “Karioka.” Her role in the film “Ba’d El Toufan” (After the Flood) was met with critical acclaim, and she won a prize for her role at the Marrakesh film festival.
She starred in several films and TV productions with prominent stars in the film industry and became known for her roles in 2014 's “Segn El-Nisaa” and 2012's “Rakam Maghol”.
