Researchers at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels of Helwan University developed new ideas to renovate the temporary showrooms of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, the Grand Egyptian Museum, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and the Coptic Museum.
The ideas touched on the design of each showroom to suit the displayed artifacts and its advertising designs without the Antiquities Ministry's bearing any financial burdens.
This program is supervised by Dr. Ali Omar, Dr. Noha Shalby, and Dr. Rania Ali.
It is proposed that a temporary exhibition would be held for showing pieces of jewelry of the Egyptian museum rather than Tutankhamun's jewelry to spotlight on them.
The team, that developed the idea, includes Ahmed Romiehh,Aya Bahnas, Fatma Mahmoud, and Azhar Mohamed.
There is also a proposal to organize a temporary exhibition on the history of the currency in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of Banque Misr 2020.
The team includes Manar Mezher, Zainab Mohamed, Soad Mohamed, Nevin Mohamed, and Eman Mohamed.
The students also presented the idea of a temporary exhibition to be held in the temporary exhibition hall of the Coptic Museum.
The team comprises Jehan Azmi, Mohamed Zuhairi, Janet Gad, Abeer Mohammed, and Azza Mohamed.
The idea is to use magic in preventing envy and protection beginning from the ancient Egyptian civilization through the Coptic civilization and then the Islamic one.
Also, a temporary fair on boats in ancient Egypt is suggested to be held at the temporary showroom of the Grand Egyptian Museum. The team will feature Reham Malal, Mona Tahir, Sara Ali, and Amani Mohamed
