On Friday, many royal reports indicated that the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, is set to stay for a second weekend in the King Edward VII hospital according to the Sun.
In the latest update issued on Tuesday, Buckingham Palace said: that Prince Philip is "comfortable and responding to treatment but is not expected to leave hospital for several days."
In the same context, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, expressed that his grandfather was doing “OK”.
Moreover, In an interview with Sky News, the Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward revealed the details of a phone call with the Duke of Edinburgh asserting that he was feeling "a lot better".
He added: "As far as I’m aware, well I did speak to them the other day, so he’s a lot better thank you very much indeed, and he’s looking forward to getting out, which is the most positive thing.”
Prince Edward continued: "We’ve had some brilliant and lovely messages from all sorts of people and we really appreciate that and so does he, I’ve been passing them on.
The only visit Prince Philip received was a 30-minute visit paid by the heir of the throne, the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles since the duke was transported to hospital 10 days ago.
