Omar Khairat Performs Dazzling Classical Musical Night at Fountain Theater

As a part of the 30 Arab Music Festival activities, the great Egyptian musician and pianist Omar Khairat performed a marvelous live concert and dazzling classical musical night at Fountain Theater located at the Cairo Opera House on Nov.9.

Khairat also took this occasion to confer words of praise upon the Egyptian Armed Forces alongside Police and then he expressed his gratitude to Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and the head of Opera Dr. Magdy Saber as well as the officials of the ceremony for their excellent leadership in organizing this timely and significant music ceremony.

After that, the legendary composer accompanied by a renowned music orchestra opened their performance on the stage of the Opera Theater with Music of Egypt then closed with a soaring ‘Noum Fe Al Asal’, 'Saber Ya'am Saber', 'Mafia', 'Zai ElHawa', 'Am Ahmed' that stirred the crowd and probably blew a few minds Saturday night.

In the same spirit, he featured musician pieces from his other flourishing three-decade-long career like 100 Years of Cinema, 'Lalit El Kabd Ala Fatama', and ‘El Hana neighbors’.

Also yesterday, the Outdoor Theater of Cairo Opera House hosted a concert by a choir of children of Opera who performed a selection of classical and contemporary Arabian songs under the Maestro Ahmed Amer.
