Today, Tuesday marks the 7th death anniversary of one of Egypt's cinema’s notable actors Wael Nour.
Over a career spanning three decades, Nour worked in many movies, plays, and dramas and emerged as one of the highest-paid actors who deployed his impeccable sense of humor.
His talents were first spotted by noted filmmaker Ahmed Fouad.
Throughout his career, Nour featured in several hit movies, like “A madding condition” and “El Gabalawy”.
The actor died of a heart stroke in 2016 in his apartment in Alexandria, Egypt.
According to actress Rania Farid Shawky, Wael was a hard-working actor with great talent and her father loved and supported him by introducing him to many of his works. She recounted that Wael was completely loyal and never forgot anyone.
Meanwhile, his co-star Mohammed Riyad said that Nour was a friend and an artist that no one can deny his contribution to the art world, adding that Wael had a variety of works that audiences still remember such as his part in “The stingy and Me” with Farid Shawky.
