Remembering Samir Sabri on His Death Anniv.

Today marks the first death anniversary of Samir Sabri, one of the most iconic Egyptian actors of all time.

He passed away in 2021 at the age of 85 years, leaving behind a legacy of memorable roles.

His artistic career spanned over six decades of entertainment and film apparition.

Born in Alexandria in 1936, he graduated from Victoria College and began his career in a radio show (At your request), in English.

He made his cinematic debut with "Love Story, (1959)", which starred Abdel-Halim Hafez and Mariam Fakhr Eddin.

The late actor and singer shot to fame with his success in 'Hikayati Maa El-Zaman' (My Story with Time, 1973), and many remarkable films and stunning performances followed suit.

The legendary actor who played a significant role in Egyptian cinema, hosted a successful entertainment show titled "This Night" and his performance in 'This Night' won much praise from his fans and critics alike.

Sabri's last TV role was in the TV series Valentino (2020), starring Adel Emam and Dalia Behari.

Throughout his long-standing career, he featured in over 150 TV series and film roles including Hekayet Hob (A love story, 1959), Wa Belwaleden Ehsana (Treat Your Parents Well, 1976), and Bint Min El-Banat (A Girl Among Girls, 1968).
