Today, Monday marks the ninth death anniversary of prominent Egyptian actor Khaled Saleh.
The acclaimed actor's contributions to the arts continue to inspire his fans and the wider Egyptian and Arab acting communities.
Saleh was born on September 25, 1964, and graduated from the Faculty of Law.
He began his acting career in El Hanager theatre while maintaining his day job until 2000.
At the age of 36, Saleh decided to pursue acting professionally.
In 2002, he starred in the comedy film "Keep Your Mind Awake" alongside Mostafa Shaaban, Samy El Adl, and Dalia Mostafa.
The late star continued to receive larger and more challenging roles throughout his career.
Throughout his career, Saleh presented many memorable roles, including an officer in the film "Tito" with Ahmed el Sakka, a terrorist in "El Gezira PII," and a part in the screenplay "El Rayan."
He also starred in many films, TV series, plays, and even an anime series.
Saleh's sudden passing in 2014 due to heart problems deeply affected his friends and colleagues in the acting world, including Khaled El Sawy and Ahmed El Sakka.
However, his legacy as a talented and respected actor lives on.
