The second death anniversary of actress Dalal Abdel Aziz, who rose to fame with "The Accused" (1988), was commemorated by her daughter Donia Samir Ghanim.

Ghanim took to her Instagram handle to share a photo with the late actress and wrote: "God bless her soul and forgive her."

Abdel Aziz boasts an extensive artistic career that has spanned over three decades.

Born in El Sharkeya governorate in 1960, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Agriculture at Zaqaziq University.

Then, she relocated to Cairo where she was discovered by the late Egyptian director, Nour Al Damerdash, who recognized her talent.

She also participated in various theatrical productions such as "Faris bany Khaiban," "Akhouya Hayiss wa Ana Layiss," and "Houb fee Al Takhshibah," among others. Furthermore, her acting skills were outstanding in the TV shows "La" and "Demou Sahibat al Galalah."

In 1998, she received the Best Actress Award at the Television Awards Festival.

The late renowned comedian Samir Ghanem was her husband and she is the mother of two popular actresses, Donia Samir Ghanem, and Amy Samir Ghanem.

In 2021, Abdel Aziz breathed her last at 61 after a long struggle with COVID-19 symptoms.
