Regina Hall is set to star opposite Adam Driver in the upcoming Netflix series “Rabbit, Rabbit”.

The project was originally announced back in October with a straight-to-series order.

The logline for the series states, “When an escaped convict is cornered by law enforcement at a truck stop, he takes hostages in an effort to bargain for his freedom. But the standoff soon escalates into an unmanageable social experiment with his captives, as well as an emotional poker match with a veteran FBI Crisis Negotiator trained in ‘tactical empathy.'”

Hall is coming off of her role in the Oscar-nominated Paul Thomas Anderson film “One Battle After Another.”

She is also known for her work in the “Scary Movie” franchise and will return in the sixth film from the Wayans brothers, as well as for roles in films like “Girls Trip,” “Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul,” “The Best Man” franchise, and “Think Like a Man” and its sequel.

In television, she recently starred in the Showtime series “Black Monday” and “The Best Man: The Final Chapters” at Peacock. She was previously seen in shows like “Ally McBeal” and “Insecure.”

Peter Craig created the series and serves as showrunner and executive producer. Driver will executive produce in addition to starring.

Philip Barantini will direct and executive produce via It’s All Made Up Productions. Samantha Beddoe of It’s All Made Up will also executive produce along with Bryan Unkeless for his and Craig’s Night Owl Stories banner. MRC is the studio.
