Egyptian actress Reem Moustafa is the latest addition to the cast of the romance film "Hen Yaktab Al Hob".
Moustafa joins previously announced cast members Motasem Al Nahar, Ahmed El Fishawy, Sawsan Badr, Jamila Awad, Sherif Hafez, Sara Baraka, Nancy Salah, Mohsen Mansour, Elham Safi El Din, and Shery Adel.
The pic, written by Saja Mohammed Al-Khalifat and directed by Mohamed Hany, marks Baraka and Al Nahar's first time starring in an Egyptian film.
Moustafa was last seen in the star-studded film “Ahl al-Kahf”.
The film features an ensemble cast that includes Khaled El Nabawy, Ghada Adel, Mahmoud Hamida, Mohamed Farag, Amr Abdel Gelil, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Sabry Fawaz, Abdel Rahman Abou Zahra, Hager Ahmed, Maged El Masry, and more.
It is based on Tawfik el-Hakim’s novel of the same title and is adapted by Ayman Bahgat Kamar and directed by Amr Arafa.
“Ahl al-Kahf” takes place in 250 AD and was shot in three countries: Ireland, Morocco, and Egypt.
The official logline of the film reads:" The epic tale of three people who wake up from their long sleep after three centuries, to find themselves in a different time other than the one in which they lived before, as they struggle to deal with this unrecognizable world."
The project is considered one of the largest productions in Egyptian cinema, given the starry cast of the pic and the use of the entire action team from London to design the stunts and fight scenes.
"Ahl al-Kahf" premiered in the cinemas during the Eid Al-Adha movie marathon after several delays. United Bros. Studios handled distribution domestically and worldwide.
Moustafa, born on June 25, 1986, made her acting debut in 2013 in the TV series “Fad Ishtibak” and “Heba Regl Elghorab.”
She is known for her outstanding performances in TV series such as "Ter Bena Ya Alby", “Kalabsh”, “Asham eblis”, “El-Wasya”, and “Mamoun we Shoraka”.
