Razane Jammal Joins Film "Assad Eswed"

British-Lebanese actress Razane Jammal has been tapped as the female lead opposite Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan in the film "Assad Eswed".

The cast also includes Maged El Kedwany, Khaled Elsawy, Sherif Salama, and more.

The film hails from filmmaker Mohamed Diab and scriptwriters Khaled and Sherine Diab. It marks Jammal's second film in Egyptian cinema after the 2023 historical epic "Kira & El Gin."

She is also well-known in the Egyptian scene for her role as Maggie MacCaleb in Netflix's first Egyptian original series "Paranormal".

Jammal captivated viewers last Ramadan with her role as Gizelle Bou Nassar in Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby's hit TV series "Taghyeer Gaw".

Additionally, she has enjoyed enormous success on a global scale thanks to her recurring role in the American TV series "The Sandman", which broke Netflix and IMDb’s records in terms of viewership rates.
