The 2024 Brit Awards took place at the O2 Arena in London, where some of the biggest names in music were honored for their achievements over the past year.
Britain's pop music award was full of glitz and was all about Raye, who led the pack this evening with seven nominations, continuing a tremendous year after splitting with her former label in 2021 and releasing her critically acclaimed debut album "My 21st Century Blues" in 2023.
The 26-year-old R&B artist took home six awards including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist.
The event was presented by first-time hosts Maya Jama and Clara Amfo, and featured performances by Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue, RAYE, Canadian newcomer Tate McRae, and electronic music duo Jungle.
During the ceremony, Minogue was honored with the Global Icon Award in recognition of her nearly 40-year music career. She was also nominated for International Artist of the Year at the event and closed the show with a blowout medley performance of her biggest hits.
