Youssef will be seen next in season 3 of Egyptian actor Maged El Kedwany‘s TV series “Mawdoo Aaely” (A Family Matter).

It also stars Mohamed Shahin, Enass Kamel, Rana Raeis, Nour, Mohamed Radwan, Sama Ibrahim, Taha Desouki, Mohammad Al Qass, Yasmine Wafi, Fouad Mohsen, Yasmina El Abd, Jan Ramez, and more.

Director Ahmed El Gendy helmed the series from a script he co-wrote with Mohamed Ezz and Karim Youssef.

The first season premiered in November 2021 and marked El Kedwany’s first lead role in a drama as well as his first project to be produced for a streaming service.

The series was renewed for a second season in January 2022 and renewed for a third season in February 2023.

Season one depicted Ibrahim (played by El Kedwany) discovering that he has a daughter from his late wife and his attempts to get close to his daughter (Raeis) and tell her that he was her father.

The second season followed Ibrahim experiencing memory loss and finding out that he has a brain tumor.

“Mawdoo Aaely” was initially set to be a film but was later made into a film.
