Rana Raeis Joins "Harim Karim" Sequel

Egyptian actress Rana Raeis has recently joined the cast of the sequel to the 2005's film "Harim Karim".

The project, helmed by director Ali Idris, commence shooting under the working title "Awlad Harim Karim".

The first film starred Mostafa Amar, Yasmin Abdulaziz, Basma, Ola Ghanem, Riham Abdulghafour, Talaat Zakaria, Edward, Khaled Sarhan, Zizi Mostafa, Hanaa El Shorbagy, and Mohamed Shahin.

Idris directed the film from a script by Zainab Aziz.

The sequel will contain 8 songs from Mostafa Amar and will feature Raeis playing his daughter. 

The sequel will witness the return of several stars from the original film, including Mostafa Amar, Basma, Dalia El Behery, Ola Ghanem, and Khaled Sarhan.

It will also feature newcomers Tiam Mustafa Qamar, Hana Daoud, and Youssef Omar.

Raeis, born on  December 14, 1999, made her onscreen debut in 2017 with two different series, "Wad' Amni" with Amr Saad and "Ground/Air" with Ghada Abdel Razek. 

Her TV credits include "Azmat Montasaf Al Omr" (2023), "Mawdou Aeli" (2021), "Nagib Zahi Zarkash" (2021), "El Haramy" (2020), "Gamal El Harim: El Maktoub" (2020), "Lyalina 80" (2020), and "Shebr Maiya" (2019).
