Jordanian actress, Rakeen Saad is set to star alongside actor Khaled Anwar in the story "Al Salwa" from the horror TV series "Kabbos".
The series sees Saad embodying a woman from Upper Egypt for the first time. It also marks the actress' first take on a horror role.
Set in the 1920s in Luxor, "Al Salwa" follows Saliha (Saad) who marries Imran (Anwar), who gets cursed by the Pharaohs and in a confrontation with Al Salwa.
The cast also includes Passent Shawky, Alaa Quqa, Mohamed Rushdi, Abdullah Al-Sayed, and others.
"Kabbos" is a STARZPLAY original series. It is written by Mohamed Nayer, directed by Yasser Al-Yasiri, and produced by Starship Entertainment.
Saad can be seen in the TV series “Azmat Montasaf Al Omr” (Middle Age Crisis).
It also stars Riham Abdel Ghafour, Karim Fahmy, Rana Raies, Hend Abdelhalim, and others.
“Azmat Montasaf Al Omr” consists of 15 episodes and is directed by director Karim El-Adl.
The plot follows Years after she was forced to marry a man much older than her, Fayrouz’s monotonous life is derailed when she falls in love with her son-in-law.
