Jordanian actress Rakeen Saad has boarded the cast of Egyptian actor Mohamed Farag's TV series "Ab Walakin" ("A Father But").
Hager Ahmed is also attached to star in the drama.
Yasmine Ahmed Kamel directs from a script she co-wrote with Marian Hani.
The series consists of 15 episodes and is produced by Synergy.
"Ab Walakin" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.
The project marks Saad's comeback to the drama marathon after seven years of absence.
She made her latest onscreen appearance in the 2018 TV series "Bel Hagm el A'eli".

Rakeen Saad, born on December 16, 1989, is the daughter of the renowned journalist Saad Al-Silawi.
She made her acting debut in the 2012 TV series "Farouk Omar".
Other TV credits include “Wahet El Ghoroub,” "Bel Hagm el A'eli," "Rivo," "AlRawabi School for Girls," "Etezan," "Kaboos," "Saffah Al Giza," Azmat Montasaf Al Omr," and "Mawid Maa Elmady".
On the film side, Saad is known for her roles in "3000 Nights," "Al Aref," and "Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo."
