Will Poulter has joined the cast of “Rabbit, Rabbit,” a Netflix hostage thriller series starring and executive produced by Adam Driver.
The logline for the series states, “When an escaped convict is cornered by law enforcement at a truck stop, he takes hostages in an effort to bargain for his freedom. But the standoff soon escalates into an unmanageable social experiment with his captives, as well as an emotional poker match with a veteran FBI Crisis Negotiator trained in ‘tactical empathy.'” Previously announced star Regina Hall plays the crisis negotiator.
On TV, Poulter’s best-known credits include playing Luca in “The Bear” in FX and Billy Cutler in “Dopesick” on Hulu, with both roles earning him Emmy nominations.
In film, he has appeared in "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" (2010), “We’re the Millers” (2013), “Midsommar” (2019), “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” (2023), “Warfare” (2025) and more. Up next, he’ll be seen in the Boots Riley film “I Love Boosters.”
Peter Craig created the series and serves as showrunner and executive producer. Philip Barantini will direct and executive produce via It’s All Made Up Productions.
Samantha Beddoe of It’s All Made Up will also executive produce along with Bryan Unkeless for his and Craig’s Night Owl Stories banner. MRC is the studio.
