Queen Rania and the Duchess of Cornwell Camilla had a joint visit to the Queen Rania Family and Children center that is run by the Jordan River Foundation on Tuesday.

The center is supporting hundreds of vulnerable children that carry Jordanian, Palestinian, and Syrian origins. It helps them to learn to make handmade products, and assists them in marketing and distributing their work.

It added: "A colourful range of handmade items by local female artisans was on display, celebrating the traditional and contemporary arts of rural and nomadic Jordan. The products created are sold worldwide by IKEA, generating jobs."

In the same context, Prince Charles, and his wife Camilla toured Jordan's holy religious places, especially, the sacred site near Jordan River where Jesus Christ was Christianized by John the Baptist.

The Royal couple arrived in Jordan on Tuesday as part of their first overseas trip since the pandemic.

The tour consists of two stops: Jordan, and Egypt. Their Egypt visit will start on Thursday.
