The Prince of Wales, and the Crown Prince of the British throne Prince Charles, and his wife, Duchess of Cornwall Camilla, arrived in Jordan on Tuesday, announcing the beginning of the couple’s Middle East tour.
This visit is the first international round for a senior British Royal Family member since the beginning of the COVID-19.
On the other hand, the timing of this tour is critical as it comes amid Queen Elizabeth’s latest medical concerns.
Regarding the Royal couple’s agenda, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will stay in Jordan for two days.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall have a welcoming and warm meeting with King Abdullah II, and Queen Rania Husseinieh Palace.
They also paid a visit to the spiritual and holy place of the spot where Jesus Christ was Christianized for the first time in Jordan’s River.
Later on, the couple will have several meetings with some officials of the charity organizations that are followed by Prince Charles.
On Thursday, Prince Charles, and his wife are expected to visit Cairo, Egypt in the tour’s second and final stop.
