Putin to Participate in Biden's Virtual Climate Summit

President Vladimir Putin will participate in the virtual summit on climate, set for April 22, Kremlin revealed.

 

During the summit, Putin will outline Russia's approach in the context of developing comprehensive international cooperation aimed at overcoming the negative consequences of climate change in the world.

 

U.S. President Joe Biden has invited 40 world leaders to attend a virtual summit on the climate crisis.

 

The summit, scheduled to be held on April 22 and 23, will focus on the economic benefits of preserving the environment.

 

Among the leaders invited for the summit are, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
