Pro-Palestinian Protests Held Throughout UK

Thousands of Britons held pro-Palestinian protests, amid the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza strip.

 

The demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of Palestinians in Jerusalem and Gaza.

 

Moreover, they condemned the massacres committed by the occupation forces against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

 

Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 181 people including 52 children and 31 women were killed, and 1225 were wounded, as a result of the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

 

On Saturday, President Joe Biden spoke separately with his Israeli and Palestinian counterparts, expressing his “grave concern” over the past six days over the violence that has left scores of dead and injured.

Biden expressed “Washington’s strong commitment to the two-state solution as the best way to reach a just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” the White House said.
