Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Sundat that 181 people including 52 children and 31 women were killed, and 1225 were wounded, as a result of the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Last Monday, Israeli police forces injured hundreds of Palestinians as they violently cracked down on worshippers at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

Violence erupted last Friday at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque amid growing anger over the potential eviction of Palestinians from homes on land claimed by Israeli settlers. The clashes escalated on Monday.

On Saturday, President Joe Biden spoke separately with his Israeli and Palestinian counterparts, expressing his “grave concern” over the past six days over the violence that has left scores of dead and injured.

Biden expressed “Washington’s strong commitment to the two-state solution as the best way to reach a just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” the White House said.
