Sony has delayed the release date of Love Again, the romantic comedy starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan, from its February 10, 2023 release and it will now premiere later next year on May 12.
The movie is directed by Jim Strouse, who also co-wrote it alongside Lauryn Kahn. It is based on the 2016 German film “SMS Fur Dich”.
The plot revolves around a woman (Chopra Jonas) who begins to send “romantic text messages” to her deceased fiancé's old cell phone, but little did she know, that the number has been reassigned to Rob Burns’ new work phone (Heughan), who is suffering from similar heartbreak.
A journalist Rob, is captivated by the honesty in the beautifully confessional texts. When he’s assigned to write a profile of Canadian music icon Celine Dion (playing herself in her first film role), he enlists her help on how to meet Mira in person and win her heart.
