Dr. Muhammad Awad Taj al-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, said that the number of Coronavirus (known also as covid-19) infections are declining, but there is still recording of infections and some of them admitted to hospitals.

"For this reason, we must continue to follow preventive measures," Dr. Taj al-Din added.

Dr. Taj al-Din indicated that all vaccines for the virus have the same effects and are similar in creating and enhancing immune bodies to reduce virus complications.

Dr. Taj al-Din added, during a telephone interview with the "This Morning" program with TV anchor Asma Mustafa on the Extra News channel, that after the infection with the virus, a type of immunity occurs and the formation of immune bodies continues for a period of time that is not yet specified, but lasts approximately 6 months, and after this period a person may be infected again with Corona even after vaccination, too.

The advisor to the President of the Republic pointed out that repeated infections were detected for people who had previously been infected with the Coronavirus, but with fewer complications, and that after a period of time.

He noted that there are two types of vaccinations, the first of which gives complete immunity, and the possibility of infection is very few and without symptoms, and the second gives partial immunity with symptoms less than not being vaccinated.
