Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, expressed his happiness for the Baron's Palace restoration. The Palace is a unique landmark in the architecture history.
Dr. Hawass explained that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has proven that he is passionate about culture and art especially; this is embodied in his concern with the Grand Museum and the Civilization Museum.
Noteworthy, the palace was inaugurated on Monday by President Sisi on the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, restoring life to one of the most distinguished archaeological sites in Heliopolis.
The palace will be open from 9 am to 6 pm instead of 4 pm for the first two weeks.
As part of the COVID-19 precautionary measures, only 900 guests will be allowed to tour the palace per day and only 10 guests will be allowed into each room at a time.
