President of Cairo University: Medical student's issue has been resolved

Fady Ayman Mansour will appear in the upcoming second-year Medical exams, Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University announced Monday.

Mansour was banned from the second term exam because the Ministry of Education claimed that his Secondary certificate was fake and his success could be spurious.

The report of the Ministery of Education said that ‘the Mansour cheated the university through giving false information regarding passing Intermediate Examination."

In this regard, the Higher Education Commission and The University of Cairo had referred his degree to the Ministery of Education for its verification, which was later referred to the Degree Scrutiny Committee for verification.

The report cited that the authorities cross-checked the copies of the Secondary Education Certificate’s credentials including his second and third certificates with the record of the exams he had taken.

Responding to this issue, many Egyptians took to social media and wrote, “We want to request our country’s most popular and students friendly president sir to kindly take in his matter and allow Mansour to appear in exams."
