Today, presidential minister Blazej Spychalski announced that Polish President Andrzej Duda,48, tested positive for coronavirus.
“"The president yesterday was tested for the presence of coronavirus. The result turned out to be positive,” Spychalski said on Twitter. “The president is fine. We are in constant contact with the relevant medical services."

Duda's infection comes as the country of 38 million faces a surge in the COVID-19 epidemic in October, hitting a daily record of more than 13,600 on Friday.
Europe has so far recorded about 7.8 million cases of the virus and about 247,000 deaths, according to Reuters tally.
European countries such as Italy, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia highlighted the highest cases of coronavirus in one day, Thursday.
