During his visit to Minya Governorate, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and his accompanying delegation inspected the project of establishing small and medium sized industrial zones in Al-Matahira of the Industrial Development Authority.

Amr Nassar, Minister of Trade and Industry, accompanied the premier during his inspection tour.

Nassar said that the complex is being implemented on an area of 80 thousand square meters, and is planned to include 68 industrial units.

He pointed out that the implementation rate of the project reached 85 percent, where 90 percent of the electricity works have been implemented, and the points of connection of the external water and drainage network have been delivered.

Madbouly called for speeding up the completion of all construction and facilities to have the industrial complex ready for investors.

He also inspected the “Egypt Street” project, which is one of the small projects implemented by the Governorate for fresh graduates and includes many commercial activities.

The Prime Minister praised the project, which provides a parking facility for citizens as well as job opportunities. Madbouly directed cleanliness and maintenance of the project, to ensure its continuity and success.

The Prime Minister started his visit earlier by inspecting the Samalout Bridge axis, which is currently being implemented on the Nile River.

He listened to a detailed explanation of the components of the axis. This project comes as a complement to the plan of the Ministry of Transport to link the roads network, east and west of the Nile, with a number of transverse axes on the Nile.

The distance between roads will not exceed 25 km; to contribute to the achievement of comprehensive development of Upper Egyptian governorates.

Madbouly stressed the importance of the axis, which is implemented by the state to bringing about development in Upper Egypt, as well as alleviating the citizens and providing job opportunities.
