Prime Minister (PM) Moustafa Madbouly congratulated on Wednesday the Egyptian people, as well as the Arab, and Muslim world on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr (Breaking fast feast).
On Tuesday, Madbouly sent a cable of greetings to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Eid Al-Fitr.
In the cable, the PM pledged that the government will exert more efforts to continue the development path under President Sisi’s leadership and to meet Egyptians’ aspirations towards a decent life and a prosperous future.
Last Wednesday, Madbouly announced that the country is implementing new precautionary measures for the next two weeks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The premier also announced that the Eid Al-Fitr holiday will be five days from 12 to 16 May and that Eid prayers will be permitted in mosques which are allowed to hold Friday prayers under the same precautionary measures.
