On Wednesday, Pablo Picasso's masterpiece "Woman with a Watch" went under hammer at Sotheby's, achieving the second-highest price for a work by Picasso.
The artwork was fetched at $139 million at New York auction
Picasso's 1932 painting "Femme à la Montre" was displayed at an auction at Sotheby's early this week.
The 1932 painting depicted one of the Spanish artist's companions and muses, and it estimated at over $120 million before going under hammer.
"Femme à la montre" is part of Sotheby's special sale this week that depicted the special collection of New York arts icon Emily Fisher Landau.
