Israeli Minister of Regional Cooperation Ofir Akunis said that at least two more countries will establish ties with Israel before outgoing US President Donald Trump leaves the White House, according to Russia Today (RT).
In a press statement, Okinis said, “US Vice President Mike Pence is planning on visiting Israel. I don’t want to commit to the dates,” adding, “It’s likely that during the trip itself there will be a declaration of normalization.”
It is worth mentioning that, Pence was in Israel last January for the World Holocaust Forum at Yad Vashem, where visiting dignitaries gathered to commemorate the Nazi genocide of Jews during World War II and mark 75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz, according to Jerusalem post.
